This past weekend my mom, dad and brother Leonard came to Houston for a short visit and to go see the Terra Cotta Warriors with us and my older sister Lupie at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It was a great exhibit. There were several of the warriors and horses, both pieced together like a puzzle and whole statues. The most amazing part is knowing that at one time all 7000 statues were painted in beautiful colors. At the beginning of the exhibit there was a statue that was actually a real man and was scaring everyone, including Denise and Brianna. They didn't want him near them at all. There was an article about him in the Houston Chronicle and how he scares everyone that goes to the exhibit. We had a good visit with my parents and they enjoyed the museum. Labor Day is this weekend and we are actually staying in town!
