My, my 2010 just flew by. It certainly kept me busy. We look forward to 2011 which will probably be another busy one.
We definitely started this year with a bang, after celebrating New Year's at our good friend's, the Suires we met up with Greg and the kids along with Rhonda at the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, TX for the game between Texas A&M and LSU. The new Cowboys stadium is bea-u-ti-ful! We luckily got a free parking space at Humperdinck's where all the LSU fans were and paid $10 a piece to shuttle us to the stadium which was about 2 miles away. Normal parking at the stadium was about $80. Thank God for such good weather or this would have been a nightmare. There were tailgaters everywhere you looked and they all had good food and libations.
We walked around the stadium looking at all the festivities, watched the impressive A&M band march in and then found our way to our buddies Greg and Rhonda. They had been there quite a while! Thanks for the food and drinks. Greg and Brenda's kids, Alex and Jackson were with them also. They sure have grown! 
Everyone tailgating there were Aggie fans, dressed in their maroon and white. But we still had fun, even though we were dressed in purple and gold. The stadium started letting everyone in and we started out for our seats. Once we walked in our jaws dropped like everyone elses when we saw the big screen in front of us. I believe they said there were 83,514 people, some had standing room only tickets. Those tickets are not so bad because no matter where you stood you could still see the game on the big screens. 
We had seats on the second level on the SEC side and our friends were way over on the other side, even Chuck and Christie were far away on the 4th level. I went once with Dennis to find them and it took forever to get there. I opted to stay in my seat for the game and enjoyed every minute of it. LSU played an outstanding game and showed the Aggies what "Gig 'em" actully means! I hope you enjoy the pics.
